Briana Osborne
Acting Executive Manager Remote Services
About
Briana is originally from New York and moved to Australia in 2018. She has a strong background in paediatric nursing including specialist roles in paediatric oncology, dialysis, surgery, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
When she moved to Australia in 2018, she went straight to Balgo Aboriginal Community and began working as a Remote Area Nurse (RAN) in the Clinic. This role provided an invaluable introduction to working in the Kimberley and delivering primary health care in a remote setting. She quickly moved into being the Clinic Coordinator in Balgo and the Acting Manager.
Following her time in Balgo, she relocated to Broome and took on a Nurse Support role within the Remotes Team which later transitioned into the Program Support Coordinator. In January 2025, she took on the role of Operations Manager for Remote Services and has now been Acting Executive Manager since September 2025.
Briana is passionate about Aboriginal health and is inspired by the dedication KAMS shows to improving outcomes for Kimberley communities. She values every opportunity to lead in this space and to contribute to strengthening remote health services.
