Shane Dahlstrom

Shane has lived in Broome most of his life and attended Broome District Primary and Broome Senior High school alongside some fellow KAMS colleagues, before doing a couple of years at boarding school. As soon as school finished, he couldn’t wait to get back to Broome and worked in various positions at Cable Beach Club before becoming IT Manager.   He has also worked as the IT Manager at Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas. His experience in International Hotel Chains honed is experience and knowledge of managing and implementing wide area networks and working with global ICT infrastructure, and he received innovation excellence awards for the Asia Pacific region twice.

Shane has worked for KAMS for 14 years now and has relished the challenges of providing and maintaining ICT services to such a remote and beautiful area.  He finds it rewarding being able to work and provide support to the region he grew up in, and after years of working in hotels, feels his best and most relevant work is being done in the health sector.

He shares that he will continue working hard to maintain a technology base that allows his KAMS amazing colleagues to provide critical healthcare services.
