Derby Aboriginal Health Service (DAHS)

About

Located in Derby

Opened in December 1998, DAHS was established by and for Aboriginal people to promote wellbeing and empower communities through prevention, management, and holistic care. Services include maternal and child health, women’s health, chronic disease, and sexual health.

DAHS integrates curative and preventative care using the MMEx database. Transport and outreach are key functions, supporting regular visits to Jarlmadangah Buru, Pandanus Park, and the Gibb River communities of Kupungarri, Imintji, Ngallagunda, Dodnun and Kandiwal. DAHS also contributes to Kimberley-wide SEWB and workforce initiatives.
