Ord Valley Aboriginal Health Service (OVAHS)

OVAHS provides comprehensive, culturally informed primary health care to the East Kimberley region. Services are prioritised based on need and consider physical, mental, and social wellbeing. 

Programs include maternal and child health, chronic disease, SEWB, AOD, mental health, and FASD prevention. Outreach is provided to Doon Doon, Glen Hill and Molly Springs. Staff include Doctors, Aboriginal Health Workers, Nurses, Audiologists, and Social Support teams. OVAHS evolved from East Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Service (EKAMS) and changed its name in 2001.
