The National Principles for Child Safe Organisations provide a consistent, Australia wide framework to help organisations create environments where children feel safe, supported, and heard. These principles were developed in response to the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse and guide organisations in strengthening child safety and wellbeing at every level.
At KAMS, we are committed to being a Child Safe Organisation. We actively promote a culture where children and young people are protected, respected, and empowered.
The National Principles help organisations of all sizes, and across all sectors that engage with or support children, to embed child-safe practices into everyday operations, governance, and decision-making.
Whether children are directly involved in our services or simply present in our spaces, we take our responsibility seriously and ensure their safety and wellbeing remain central to everything we do.
