Indigenous Health Research Register (IHRR)

The Indigenous Health Research Register was launched in 2025. It has been developed by the Kimberley Aboriginal Health Research Alliance (KAHRA) utilising the Kimberley Aboriginal Health Planning Forum (KAHPF) Research Sub-Committee records.

The register acts an archive – providing Kimberley communities and researchers with a mechanism for finding out about historical research projects conducted in the region since 2006. In this way the register will assist in identifying knowledge gaps and informing decisions about future research projects.

The register also acts as a research repository – providing research projects conducted in the Kimberley with a central location to store their project documents, outputs, and evaluations. In this way the register provides researchers with a platform to broaden knowledge translation.
