Workforce
Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services (KAMS) is proud to provide employment, training and career pathways for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people across the Kimberley.
As a community-controlled organisation, KAMS is driven by purpose and committed to improving health outcomes for our communities. We offer a supportive, culturally safe and inclusive workplace where staff are valued and empowered to make a meaningful contribution.
KAMS is a major regional employer and is committed to strengthening a skilled, confident and culturally strong Aboriginal health workforce. Through our Registered Training Organisation and partnerships with training providers, we deliver practical, community-based learning that builds local capability and supports long-term workforce development.
KAMS offers a limited number of GP Registrar training positions across the Kimberley Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services network. These roles provide a supported, team-based learning environment, with supervision from experienced GPs, close collaboration with Aboriginal Health Workers, and access to dedicated regional medical education and formal training support.
From entry-level opportunities to professional development, KAMS invests in people to support strong health services across the Kimberley.
