Kimberley Support Services
Kimberley Supports is a unit within Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services (KAMS), focused on improving access to high-quality, culturally safe disability and aged care supports for Aboriginal people across the Kimberley region.
Our vision is for Aboriginal people in the Kimberley to have strong, community-led support systems that enable independence, connection to Country, and quality of life.
We work closely with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs), government agencies, and service partners to ensure that people with disability, older people, and their families can access the supports they need, when and where they need them.
Kimberley Supports Consortium
The Kimberley Supports programs are delivered through a Consortium approach, which brings together eight local Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations from across the region working in collaboration to deliver disability and aged care initiatives.
Through the Consortium, member services share knowledge, align service delivery approaches, and advocate together for better outcomes for Aboriginal people living with disability and older people in the Kimberley.
